CUTS AND CRUMBLES
I wanted to create a name that would truly reflect the goals of my blog. Since this is all about my journey of learning how to cook, blog and photograph I know there will be a lot ups and downs (i.e. CRUMBLES) along the way!
I plan to share decadent recipes that are full of flavor AND low cal (i.e. doing my best to CUT calories). Now because life is life, I will occasionally make recipes that aren’t quite healthy (okay let’s be real…sometimes I want to make chocolate peanut butter cup chocolate chip brownies drizzled with peanut butter and chocolate syrup then topped with chocolate shavings and dipped in hot chocolate) and I want to be able to share some of those recipes as well! To prevent distracting (tempting) readers who are searching for healthy, low cal options, you can find the healthier recipes under CUTS and the not so healthy (okay, downright unhealthy) recipes under CRUMBLES.
For me, living a healthier lifestyle obviously means learning how to create healthier food options. It also means exercising! My favorite exercise is boxing, and although throwing hooks is my favorite, we can give a shout out to the upperCUTS as well!
The road to a healthier lifestyle can be filled with a lot of CUTS and CRUMBLES but hopefully together we can make the journey a little easier (and tastier)! 🙂
