Brownie Batter Dip

A thick, decadent, chocolate dip that tastes just like eating brownie batter right out of the bowl! Your guests will come back dipping for more all night! Brownie Batter Dip

As a food blogger, I think people have this misconception that I am always cooking up these elaborate meals and eating like a queen every day. None of this is true. In reality, I eat like a 4-year-old and I might occasionally come across a good entrée recipe that I want to try out, but for the most part, I’d be happy snacking on a cheese board or a good dip for every meal. I’m a true grazer at heart so when we have people over I like to have something that we can snack on throughout the night and return to as much as we want. Especially if there is wine, because then my grazing tendencies increase by 97%. So proper snacks are pertinent whenever we have a party.

I’ve been downing too much cheese lately (always), so for our last gathering, I decided to skip the cheese board or cheese-based dips and focus on dessert. And to me, if it’s not chocolate, it’s not dessert. This brownie batter dip is perfect for grazing, plus it was ridiculously simple which was ideal since I had to photograph the BBQ Brothers grilling up some new masterpieces that day! Your guests will love dipping fruits, pretzels and crackers into this addicting dip and even the pickiest of kids will love it!

BROWNIE BATTER DIPBrownie Batter Dip

This dip is embarrassingly easy but when it is presented with all of the sliced fruits, crackers and pretzels it looks gorgeous for entertaining!

To make this dip, you’re going to start by softening 8 oz of cream cheese in a large bowl. Add in an 8 oz container of Cool Whip and mix with a hand mixer until smooth.

Next, add in an 18 oz box of your favorite dry brownie mix and 2 Tbsp of milk and continue to mix until blended.

Serve with fruit, graham crackers, pretzels, marshmallows, or any of your other favorite dippers. You can make this recipe ahead of time and store it covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Enjoy! 🙂

If you’re a choco-holic like me, check out these other desserts that would be perfect for a party!

Welcome!

I’m Caitlin! I could survive off cheese, wine and chocolate (in that order) if my body would let me...but it won’t...so I’m over here cooking and sharing low-calorie, full-flavor recipes instead! When I’m not cooking, blogging or overusing ellipses I’m obsessing over my sous chef cockapoo Benson and Ohio State football (also in that order). Read On…
