This easy homemade bang bang sauce is an excellent copy-cat recipe for the bang bang shrimp sauce at Bonefish Grill. It has only 3 ingredients and can be stored in the refrigerator for months for quick use!
Why Make This Recipe?
- This bang bang shrimp sauce is a great copy-cat recipe of the classic Bonefish Grill version.
- This sauce is incredibly easy to make and can be stored in the fridge for an extended period of time with the rest of your condiments.
- You can pull this sauce out anytime and use it to top fried shrimp or tacos for a quick, delicious lunch or party appetizer.
Ingredient Notes
- Mayonnaise: I choose to use Hellman's light mayonnaise for most recipes but your preferred brand would work fine. (I don't recommend using Miracle Whip for this sauce as it will change the taste).
- Sriracha: I use the Huy Fong brand of sriracha sauce.
- Sweet Chili Sauce: Any brand of sweet chili sauce will taste great in this shrimp sauce. I personally use the Maggi brand.
Recipe and FAQs
- Simply mix together ½ C mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Sriracha, and 2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce in a small bowl. And BANG---your shrimp sauce is done! How easy was that??
Since all of the ingredients in this bang bang sauce are condiments with long shelf-lives, this sauce can be stored in your refrigerator for an extended amount of time (around 3 months or until the earliest expiration date of the three ingredients).
