These Lucky Charm Treats are a tasty twist on an old favorite! Perfect for St. Patrick's day or any time you need a fun, simple dessert! Lucky Charm Treats with St. Patrick's day beads and title written on chalkboard

When I first made these Lucky Charm Treats, I was rooting for Conor McGregor in UFC 196 (spoiler alert: it didn't end well for him....) That inspired me to make an Irish themed dessert to contribute to the party. Didn't hurt that St. Patrick's day was right around the corner, too! 🙂

These give classic Rice Krispies treats a real run for their money! I was worried they'd be too sweet with all the added marshmallows and sugar but they're downright perfection. And the cute marshmallows make it a perfect St. Patrick's day or Irish themed dessert. For the fight I lovingly gave these the name of 'Conor Krispies,' but for a more universal use we will call them 'Lucky Charm Treats'! I hope you enjoy this tasty twist on a classic favorite as much as I did!

    LUCKY CHARM TREATS

Lucky Charm Treat shaped like a cover with St. Patrick's day scarf and necklace close up viewThese are just as simple to whip together as Rice Krispies treats! In a large, microwaveable bowl, add in 3 tablespoon of butter and a 10 oz bag of marshmallows. Microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Continue to microwave in 30 second intervals until marshmallows are completely melted.

Add in 6 cups of Lucky Charms cereal and mix together.

Spread the mixture into a greased 9x13 pan, flatten with a piece of wax paper, and allow to set. Alternatively, if you're going to cut into shapes with cookie cutters, spread into a pan lined with parchment paper for easy removal. Top with a few extra marshmallows.

Once set, cut with a greased knife, or cookie cutters, if desired.

Enjoy! 🙂 Store in an airtight container for up 1 week! (Like they EVER last that long!)Multiple Lucky Charm Treats with St. Patrick's day scarf and beads overhead shotLooking for a different type of St. Patty's day treat? Check out this Shamrock Martini! 🙂
